Founded in 1975 under the name Soudure Bon Conseil by Bernard Jutras, the company initially specialized in general welding and the repair of agricultural machinery, serving the needs of the local sector. Over the years, the business evolved and diversified its expertise in order to better serve its clients.
Starting in 1980, the company began specializing in the installation of truck equipment, including hydraulic, blower and vacuum systems, marking a key step in its industrial development.
The year 2000 marked a major turning point with the company’s name change to Multi Van Drummond Inc. This new identity also marked the beginning of the design and manufacturing of compartmented tanker semi-trailers used for grain transportation, positioning the company as a specialized and recognized leader in its field.
In 2004, to support its growth, Multi Van Drummond Inc. expanded by moving into new facilities in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. The company established itself in a modern 24,000-square-foot facility equipped with specialized equipment and infrastructure designed for metal fabrication.
In 2013, Pascal Jutras officially joined his father in the management of the company, ensuring family succession and the continuation of the company’s expertise.
In 2015, Multi Van Drummond Inc. began a new strategic phase by adopting a renewed brand image, better aligned with its evolution and the demands of the market.
In 2025, the company entered a new era when Pascal Jutras transferred ownership of Multi Van Drummond Inc. to Mr. Louca Cardinal, opening the door to a new phase of development.
Finally, in January 2026, Multi Van Drummond Inc. officially relocated to new facilities in order to optimize the manufacturing of its tanker trailers and provide even more efficient customer service. The company is now located at 3100 Route 122, Saint-Cyrille, QC, Canada, J1Z 1G7, in modern facilities designed to meet the needs of today and tomorrow.
